Shanghai Brewery is a microbrewery, a restaurant with a great chef and a sports bar. In September 2012, Shanghai Brewery was selected by That’s Shanghai Magazine as the “Best New Bar in Shanghai 2012″.

Shanghai Brewery always features 6 styles of fresh, hand-crafted microbrewed beers, all brewed on-site, as well as full menus for drinks and food. Chef Justin Birmingham (from a Michelin 2-Star Restaurant in the UK) is the executive chef of Shanghai Brewery, making sure that the food that we serve is delicious. We are proud of the food that we serve and receive many compliments.

We aim to make Shanghai Brewery a comfortable place for people to enjoy. We hope it will soon be your “local”, too.

Shanghai Brewery is a microbrewery, a high-quality restaurant and a sports bar with 2 locations in Shanghai:
1) 15 Dong Ping Road (by Hengshan Road) in the heart of the former French Concession area
2) 21C Hongmei Pedestrian Street, 3338 Hongmei Road (by Yan An West Road) in the western district of Hongqiao

Shanghai Brewery regularly brews 6 kinds of fresh hand-crafted microbrewery beers onsite, including People’s Pilsner, West River Weizen, North Star IPA and Black Eyed Bear Stout,  as well as special seasonal beers such as the Brewmeister’s Choice.

Shanghai Brewery is also a high quality international restaurant featuring a menu created by our executive chef, Justin Birmingham, from a Michelin 2-Star Restaurant in the UK. Our Mexican, German and Mediterranean favourites have been especially popular.

Big screen TVs and projectors are placed throughout Shanghai Brewery broadcasting most of the world’s sporting events live. If you would like to watch a sporting event that is not being shown at our Sports Bar, then please ask our server or manager and we would be happy to show it.
